I came across this piece online today and just thought I’d share. We work with a lot with dogs at Say Cheese and we’ve always found them impressive, intelligent and inquisitive animals. That said, I think this is really outstanding and demonstrates just how clever an animal they are.

So the world cup kicks off today, you should know by now that Saycheese.ie loves dogs it just happens we are also massive football fans. This great concept Dogs of the World Cup give you a good mix of the two. This Life on White project is showcasing via photomontage the most representative dogs from every country wearing the uniform of their football national team.

This Pomeranian puppy named Jin Danin from China  was apparently so distraught about getting groomed that he staged a protested by standing on his hind legs for nearly two days, according to Rocket News 24.

Jin Dan eventually landed on all fours, apparently resigned to his fate. As Rocket News and Gawker both pointed out, it’s entirely possible that the story is made up, and the owner simply trained the dog to stand on its hind legs. Even so, this could be the cutest/creepiest little pet ever.

Wet Dog Photographs Wins Prestigious Award

Wet Dog Photography Rightly Wins Award1SEXPAND

The winners of the 2014 Sony World Photography Awards were announced last week with great news and a special thanks to Animal NY that finally, wet dog photography is finding its place. Photographer Sophie Gamand of France has won the Portraiture award.

A whole host of Gamand’s wet dog portraits are at her website, where she describes her project as images of dogs during their most “vulnerable and humiliating moment,” but here are some of the best, if you’re looking for new wall decor.
